Full board:
All accommodation at The Matumau includes full board. The reason for this is that in this remote area there is a very limited choice of eating places. To ensure that you enjoy a hassle free stay we provide all meals.
We serve cooked breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks as required (depending on arrival and departure times and your activities).
We know that after walking in the forest you will be hungry! Our meal portions are generous.
As the lodge is designed to be a home-away-from-home, guests are free to wander into our kitchen where they can learn about local ingredients and cooking styles.
Tea and coffee making facilities and fruits are available at all times. Bottled mineral water is also provided free of charge.
Menus depend on seasonal availability and guests’ wishes. Both Eastern and Western dishes are available.
Some of our fruit is grown right on site in the garden, where we also have a range of tropical plants to interest you.
